Linking Machine w/ Mobile Devices

For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac:

1. Canon PRINT Business:

   • Download and install the Canon PRINT Business app.
   • Use the app to print and scan documents.
   • Supports User Authentication and Department ID Management.
   • Using Canon PRINT Business
     

2. AirPrint:

   • Ensure your device supports AirPrint.
   • Print directly from applications that support AirPrint without installing additional drivers.
   • You can also scan and send faxes from a Mac.
   • Using AirPrint

For Android Devices:

1. Canon PRINT Business:

   • Download and install the Canon PRINT Business app.
   • Use the app to print and scan documents.
   • Supports User Authentication and Department ID Management.
   • Using Canon PRINT Business

2. Canon Print Service:

   • Download and install the Canon Print Service plugin.
   • Print from any application that supports printing.
   • Supports Department ID Management.
   • Using Canon Print Service

3. Mopria® Print Service:

   • Ensure your device supports Mopria® Print Service.
   • Print from any application without installing additional plugins.
   • Using Mopria® Print Service

4. Default Print Service:

   • Use the built-in print function in the OS.
   • Print from any application without installing additional plugins.
   • Using Default Print Service

For Chromebook or Other Devices with Chrome OS:

1. Chrome OS Standard Function:
   • Use the built-in print function in Chrome OS.
   • Print without installing additional applications or drivers.
   • Printing from Chrome OS

For Windows Phone:

1. Windows 10 Mobile Standard Function:
   • Use the built-in print function in Windows 10 Mobile.
   • Print without installing additional applications or drivers.
   • Printing from Windows 10 Mobile

Important Notes:

• Security Policy: Ensure that IPP Port (Port Number: 631) and mDNS Port (Port Number: 5353) are not restricted to use AirPrint, Mopria® Print Service, or Default Print Service.
• Address Book: Use Canon PRINT Business to specify destinations registered in the address book on a mobile device.
• Changing Settings: You may need to change machine settings to link with mobile devices. Refer to the Setup for Linking with Mobile Devices Administrator Guide.
