1. Open the Printer: Make sure your printer is turned on, then open the front cover to access the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
2. Remove the Drum Unit and Toner Cartridge Assembly: Pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly from the printer.
3. Remove the Old Cartridge: Push down the green lock lever and carefully remove the old toner cartridge from the drum unit.
4. Prepare the New Cartridge: Unpack the new toner cartridge, remove the protective cover, and gently shake it to evenly distribute the toner inside.
5. Insert the New Cartridge: Insert the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until it locks into place.
6. Clean the Corona Wire: Slide the green tab on the drum unit from left to right and back several times to clean the corona wire.
7. Reinstall the Drum Unit and Toner Cartridge Assembly: Carefully insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer.
8. Close the Printer: Close the front cover of the printer to complete the replacement process.
