To set up Admin rights on a Ricoh copier, follow these simple steps:
1. Login to the Web interface using your preferred web browser. Locate the IP address of the copier and input that into the web address portion of the browser.
2. Click Login at the top right-hand side of the screen. The username is admin and there is no password.
3. Click Device Management, then click Configuration.
4. Click Administrator Authentication Management under Device Settings.
5. Under Machine Administrator Authentication, turn to On and select the Available Settings you wish to restrict with the Admin code (see below for example).
6. Click OK.
After completing these steps, the machine will prompt you to login when trying to use the restricted functions. The login is: admin and there is no password.
