Copy Functions

How do I make copies?

1. Print the Home icon at the bottom of the printer screen.
2. Press the "Copy" icon on the home screen.
3. Place originals on the platen glass. 
4. Select any special settings.
5. Choose the number of copies.
6. Press "Start"

How do I reduce or Enlarge my Copied Document?

1. Select Reduce/Enlarge at bottom of touch screen
2. You can select one of the presets to copy form one size to another or select a specific ratio to adjust to your document.
3. Ranges are from 25% reduction to 400% enlargement.
4. You can also change ratios by using the + and – keys to move up or down.

How do I Copy a Book?

1. Select Dup/Combine/Series menu at bottom of touch screen
2. Select Series/Book
3. Lay book face down on the glass with spine at the 8 ½ x 11 mark at the top of the glass. The document feeder will rise from the back to allow for the thickness of the book.
4. Select Book > 1 sided: This will scan both pages of your book and give you 2 separate one sided copies.
5. Select Book>2 Sided: This will scan both pages and you one 2-sided copy

How do I use the Staple Finishing function?

1. Press "Finishing"

2. Select desired stapling position

How do I use the Hole Punch function?

You can punch holes in the pages of a printed document. (A hole punch-capable finisher must be installed on the printer.)

These settings are specified on the [Paper/Imposition/Finishing] screen.

Printing Functions

How do I print from a USB/flash drive or SD Card?

1. Select Printer 

2. Insert USB or SD Card 

3. Select Print From Memory Storage Device 

4. Select File 

5.You can select Detailed Settings to Staple, select Paper Trays, etc. – then select OK 

6. Start Printing. 

***File format has to be PDF or JPG in order for the copier to recognize/print***

How do I save a document to the Document Server?

1. Select print Properties.  

2. Select Details… 

3. Type in a User ID, usually your name. 

4. Enter a File Name. This will show in the Document Server list on the machine. 

How Do I Release a Print Job?

1. Hit the Printer hard button to the left of the screen.
2. Select Print Jobs.
3.  
4. You should see a print queue. Touch to select one or more print jobs with your name on them.
5. Select Print.
6. Select Yes.
