If you're looking to print booklets from Word or PDF, you've come to the right place. Here are the step-by-step instructions to ensure your booklet printing goes smoothly:

1. Document Setup:

Make sure your document is set up as single 8.5x11 pages in Word or PDF, and that the print preview reflects this.
 

2. Printer Properties: 

In the Printer Properties, follow these steps:

- Select the document size in the Word/Adobe file from the Document Size drop down

- Choose the size you wish the document to print on from the Print On drop down

- If you need to pull from a specific paper tray, select the tray from the Input Tray drop down

- Choose 'Magazine' from the Booklet dropdown

- Select '2 at Center' from the Staple dropdown

- Choose Color or Black and White

3. Customizing the Cover: 

If you want to use a different paper type for the cover, follow these additional steps:

- Select 'Front Cover' from the Paper Selection dropdown

- Choose the tray for the cover from the Input Tray dropdown

- Select whether you want to print on the cover from the Print Mode on Cover Sheet

- Select 'Other Pages' from the Covers/Pages selection

- Choose the tray for the normal inside pages from the Input Tray dropdown

 

4. Printing from PDF:

If printing from PDF, select 'Advanced' at the top right of the Adobe print driver, then select 'Print as image' and click OK.

Remember to lay your paper landscape in the paper tray and, if using something other than plain office paper for the cover, be sure to set the paper tray for that paper type at the machine.
