Printing a Small Booklet


To print a small booklet using the Canon Booklet Finisher, follow these steps:


1. Insert Preprinted Cover: Ensure that the preprinted cover is inserted into the designated tray.

2. Page Setup Tab: Set the Page Size to Statement and the Output Size to Letter.

3. Finishing Tab: Select Booklet Printing as the Print Style and choose Fold + Saddle Stitch for the Saddle Stitch Setting.

4. Paper Source Tab: Keep the Paper Selection the same and set the Front Cover Paper Source to Drawer 4. Remember to position the paper in landscape orientation in the tray.


Printing a Large Booklet


For printing a large booklet, follow the same instructions as for a small booklet with the following variations:


2. Page Setup Tab: Set the Page Size to Letter and the Output Size to 11x17.


By following these instructions, you can easily set up the Canon Booklet Finisher for printing small and large booklets with or without covers. If you need to print a cover with the document, follow the same instructions as above with these changes:


1. Paper Source Tab: Set the Paper Selection to Different for Cover & Others, with the Cover Page coming from Drawer 4 and the Other Pages set to Auto.

2. Front/Back Cover Settings: Ensure that None is selected. If the inner side of the cover is intended to stay blank, make sure to include blank pages in the document.
