Before you begin:
Before you start the configuration process, make sure you have administrative access to the printer and the necessary information such as the DNS suffix, SMTP server, and authentication details.
Step one: Set up Fax Archive
- Use the Fax Archive settings to send copies of incoming and outgoing faxes to an email address, network folder, or FTP server.
- Configure the settings by selecting the type of fax job to archive and setting up the archive destination.
- Ensure you have the SMTP server information and authentication details ready before proceeding.
Step two: Set up Fax Forwarding
- Use the Fax Forwarding settings to send copies of faxes to another fax number.
- Enable Fax Forwarding, select the type of fax job to forward, and enter the fax number in the designated field.
Step three: Complete the setup
- Review the selected settings on the Fax Archive and Forwarding page and click Apply to finalize the setup.
