Locking Down Specialty Paper Trays (turn off Auto Continue)

If you need to use specialty paper such as letterhead, cardstock, or envelopes on your Kyocera printer, you can easily adjust the settings to ensure optimal print quality. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up specialty paper settings on your Kyocera printer:


From Kyocera interface:


1. Click on Paper Settings at the top of the screen.

2. Select the drawer where you will be storing your specialty paper.

3. Click on Media Type and choose the type of paper media you will be using.

4. Keep the Paper Size to Auto for the machine to detect the size automatically.

5. Click OK and then Close multiple times to exit out of the Paper Settings menu.

From Web Interface:


1. Type in the copier's IP address into your preferred browser's web address bar.

2. If a warning message appears, click on Advanced and Continue.

3. Click on Login, then Admin Login at the top right of the screen.

4. Enter Admin as the User Name and 1234567 as the Password.

5. Click Login and then navigate to Device Settings, Paper/Feed/Output.

6. Under the paper tray you want to adjust, change the media type to your preferred media.

7. Click Submit to save the changes.
